Avoiding a very 'stressed' wedding day! (At least from a photography point of view!)There's always two sides of the story. One is a photographer, desperately trying to round up guests to get them into a picture, look the same way and smile. Conscious of the pressure from the venue, bride and the need to get some good shots. Perhaps sweating a little.
Then there's the guests! Dressed up to the nines, been standing around for ages, hungry, quite possibly bored, needing the loo and wanting to hit the bar but being pulled outside for those dam photos!
It can get fraught!
I'll always remember the malice I felt to a photographer who I thought was more than a little rude to my grandfather at my brother's wedding. (Admittedly Granddad held up the proceedings by returning to the venue via the pub) but nevertheless......
How do you get around it?
Well at Inceptum Wedding Photography we have a cunning plan. With every wedding we offer a
dedicated organiser and two photographers. The organiser, normally a female (sexist but people respond better to assertive ladies with clipboards), simply works with the Ushers to round up the guests. Having someone not taking pictures 'manage' the day means that the people who are taking the pictures just get on with it. And do it well. Add another photographer and you can see why some many brides are happy with the work done by Inceptum Wedding Photography.
